Vivo’s offshoot iQOO has unveiled its latest premium phones, dubbed the iQOO 12 series. It is the first smartphone to include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The iQOO 12 series is now available in China, and it is likely to be available in additional regions in the near future. The iQOO 12 Pro’s front panel boasts a 6.78-inch E7 AMOLED panel with a punch-hole camera cutout in the center and 144Hz refresh rate capability. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU and ships with the new OriginOS 4-based Android 14 operating system.
The phone has a triple-lens camera arrangement for photographers, with a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP periscope camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, the iQOO 12 has a 16MP selfie camera. The phone has 16GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
The iQOO 12 Pro has a 5,100mAh battery and supports 120W wired charging. The phone is available in three colors: black, red, and white (BMW M Edition).
