Apple says that a new official store will open on January 20 in Hongdae, South Korea. In keeping with tradition, the tech titan has published new wallpapers, including a custom logo for the store, to commemorate the event. Download the Apple Hongdae Store wallpaper for Mac, iPhone, and iPad here.
The new Apple Store Hongdae is located at 140 Yanghwa-ro in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The grand opening is set for January 20 at 10 a.m., and the hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.
We already released wallpapers for Apple’s new stores in India last year. These wallpapers include an Apple logo that is intended to match the local culture of the place where the shop is opening. The Apple Store Hongdae wallpaper, for example, features a graffiti-style logo.
Michael Steeber reported an amazing discovery in his newsletter: the Apple logo in the wallpaper contains the secret Korean phrase ‘Hongdae’.
While many Apple fans may be unable to attend the new store’s grand opening, they can still commemorate the occasion with the new logo wallpaper designed for various devices. These wallpapers are accessible on Apple’s official website, where users can download them in the quality that best suits their device. For example, if you have a Mac, it will download the wallpaper in Mac quality; the same is true for iPhones and iPads. However, it does not support downloading in all three formats.
